Reflexology

Reflexology is a non-invasive, complementary therapy, in which pressure is applied to specific points or ‘reflexes’ on the feet, hands, face, and sometimes ears, to promote the body’s own healing process, relieve tension, and bring about a state of deep relaxation.

Reflexology is based on the theory that certain pressure points correspond to different organs, glands, and parts of the body, and that stimulating these reflexes can positively affect the function of the related organ/body system, affecting the whole body.

Reflexology does not claim to cure ailments. The main objective of reflexology is to stimulate and promote the body’s own healing process, by increasing toxin elimination, and encouraging the client towards a homeostatic state of energetic balance.
